Gran Arenal is about 12.5 Km (7.8 Miles) apart from the Arenal Volcano crater, 1,3 Km North from La Fortuna’s Park and on the countryside. This area is located outside the low risk influence zone of the volcano, making Gran Arenal a very nice and safe place to stay in La Fortuna.
